Reflexology has been in use for thousands of years that involves applying pressure to the feet in certain acupressure points that represent certain areas of your body that can be positively affected through these points.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a deep relaxation technique for activating, restoring and balancing natural energy. It helps in the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels by soothing pain and relieving stress. Reiki is an energy medicine used for thousands of years for inner peace and harmony. Can be beneficial for balancing emotions, spiritual growth, and the grief process.

You can be seated in a chair or choose to be seated or lying on the salt floor. One of our therapists will be with you guiding you through relaxing meditation exercises. This upgrade can not only provide deep mental relaxation but also give you tools to use at home. Your session may also include guided breathing exercises.
Your guided meditation can be customized to focus on a theme of your choosing. Some examples areas of focus include: Gratitude, Chakra Balancing, Grounding, Mind & Body Relaxation, Present Moment Awareness, Self Love & Compassion, Letting go.

Yoga in the salt room is gentle and suitable for all levels. Salty yoga places an emphasis on the breath and breathing exercises are offered at the start and end of the session. The unique salt floor is gentle on joints and gives a balance challenge. Our yoga instructor will tailor this 60-minute session to your needs and ability.

Nicole is a graduate of Berks Medical Massage. She will be offering relaxation, Himalayan Salt Stone massage, deep tissue as well as therapeutic massage. Nicole is also trained in reflexology and is excited to help her clients achieve their wellness goals. Nicole can also speak Spanish for guests that would be more comfortable speaking Spanish.

John has been providing massage in Berks since 2013. He uses his yoga training to help clients with body alignment, posture and correct body mechanic issues. He strives to educate his clients on how massage therapy can help relieve stress, address injuries and maintain good body health. He has studied with numerous teachers reiki energy healing as well.
John does in addition to massage, reflexology and reiki at the salt lounge.

Colleen is a graduate of East West School of Massage and previously worked as a physical therapy assistant for 25 years. She enjoys performing therapeutic massage and incorporating stretching to increase range of motion. Colleen is also well trained in reflexology and cupping.

We require 24 hour notice to cancel a service at the salt lounge. A fee of 50% of the service is charged for late cancelled and 100% of the service is charged in the event of a no-show. These fees allow us to compensate our staff for their time reserved just for you. You would be a hero to us and to other clients who may be on a waitlist if you provided us adequate notice should you need to cancel. There are not exceptions to the cancellation policy.
While there are many clinical and scientific studies conducted on dry salt therapy (halotherapy) throughout the world, the FDA has not evaluated the statements made throughout this material, content, website, etc. Dry salt therapy is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Online booking is available by clicking the Book Now below. You can view our schedule online up to 30 minutes prior for last minute appointments without logging in. For group books for more than 2 people or if your looking for a 90 minute massage and don’t see one available- give us a call

A credit card is required to reserve all appointments both online and via phone.
You will want to wear comfortable clothing (salt air is not harmful nor will it leave a noticeable residue). You can wear shorts and t-shirts to expose your skin if necessary. Socks are recommended to keep feet warm and socks are available to borrow however many clients prefer to have bare feet. Blankets are provided in the salt rooms.
Yes! We book private groups in the salt room for up to 6 people. You an add-on Chair Massage, Reflexology, Yoga, Meditation. Call us for pricing and to book your group- 610-646-1733. We cannot book groups using online booking.
Everyone has the ability to practice Reiki. There are 3 Levels all are taught by Reiki Masters.
Level I – introduction to Reiki, students learn the history & basic hand positions. Upon completion, student is able do self Reiki
Level II – further explores Reiki as a healing modality. At completion, the student can practice Reiki on others
Level III- Students become Reiki Masters and are able to practice as well as teach
No. The practitioner is a channel that allows the energy to flow into the client. As the chakras become unblocked, the negative energy is released by the client. Many clients describe that feeling as a sudden lightness.
Yes! Salty yoga is great for beginners. You will develop flexibility over time with consistent practice.
Wear comfortable clothes. There are blankets provided in the room. Your shoes and socks will come off for this service. Lockers are provided.
Reiki is performed on clients fully clothed. Dress comfortably.
